As a clarification to my last post regarding commissions (which I wrote far too hastily),

I am not officially open for commissions!

For the next couple of months I plan to be churning out suits to auction off on furbid. I am not yet ready for the commitment of a real commission!

What I was saying in my last post was that I am willing to take a commission if you can convince me that it is REALLY worth my time. This means offering me large sums of money. You must understand! This is my job, I need to make a living off of it :). So basically, if you impress me with the depth of your wallet, I may be willing to take the job. I know this isn't very fair but it's the way I want to play the game right now.

I do not feel comfortable at this point setting a base price for my work. I'd like to get some offers in part as a way to judge how much I should really be charging. If you feel at a loss as to how much you should offer, think about other artists work that you feel my suits are comparable to, and think about how much they charge. It's only fair, right?

I hope this clears some things up! If you're still interested, here's what you need to send me:
Email to bastekk at gmail dot com with subject header "Fursuit Commission"

1. Whether you are requesting a partial, just a head, or a full suit.
2. How much you are willing to PAY ME for said items.

Do not worry about sending reference art, I changed my mind about that. We will go off of price.

I know that this is a very different way of doing things, but I hope you all understand!

So this guy is my new pet project. I'm calling him Desoto for now (I know, two D names in a row!), but who knows what it's going to turn out to be!
This is my big test.. I'm going to figure out if I can build a fursuit from ground up in one month. I think I can do it!

Started throwing this guy together on thursday. I'm on such a roll!

Going to start sewing his face together tomorrow. I'm PSYCHED! More later ;)

This is my first full suit. I ran out of time to finish, so Java was awesome enough to do the body. I don't have many in progress shots of this guy, but I'll post what I do have!

Here is the first step. Foam head construction!

Next step, the UGLIEST STAGE! Pinning on the loose fur to make sure everything fits together ok:

This was my favorite part.. I worked my ass off to come up with a pair of paws that I liked.. here they are!

So this guy was at MFF.. Hopefully some people got some good shots of him on the guy that he's supposed to fit! I'll post some of those when I get them.
